Collapsible string structures made for my final show at Royal College of Art titled ‘Corners of Interest’. Made to fit the existing architecture, emphazising details and softening corners. Made from elastic string and electric luminescent wire.

2x2x2 m big collapsible corner connected with elastic string. The whole structure can be collapsed into a 10 cm flatpack and hid in the ceiling.

The model that turned into the big scale finished piece.

2.8x2.8 m collapsible corner of intertwining elastic string cones. The 900 meters of elastic is coloured by hand.

1.8x1.8 m collapsible corner made from white electric luminescent wire.
